Burghfield Sailing Club
Situated on Station Road Burghfield Sailing Club is one of the largest inland sailing clubs in the Country with just over 200 acres of sailable waters. The Club is open everyday form sunrise to sunset with excellent changing facilities. If you do become a member you will be a life time member of the Fox & Hounds and everytime you visit we will give you 10% off your food bill.

Come along to Hosehill Lakes Nature Reserve, if you are a keen bird watcher or just fancy an afternoon stroll why not come down and soak up all of the beauty that it has to offer.

Kennet & Avon Cannal
Visit Garston Lock in Theale along the river Kennet. The lock was built in around 1720 and is a rare example of a turf-side lock, one of only two remaining in britain. You can either walk all the way to Reading or go the other way to Newbury, it makes fantastic exercise and is good for dog walking, it is simply stunning.
